My grandparents has a wagon just like this one in Illinois in the 1960’s. They had it parked on the grass near their stables. It was our play house for years when we were very little. The metal step and sliding door made it fun to play on. They had horses but never hitched it up so we had to pretend we were delivering the milk

Interesting, Philip. I used to see them delivering milk to our house in the 1940s. It’s a mental image that hasn’t faded with time.
